Roundout takes a sharp right East turn with High Falls, about 6 miles North of the falls is where Esopus Creek is flowing SE, draining East-central Catskills and turning NE with Marbletown and heading to Saugerties where it meets up with Hudson... a three rivers harmonic... I marked Esopus during 2018 from its source west of Mt Tremper NY... Esopus is a main feeder of Ashokan Reservoir... and from Marbletown flows NE closely, within ten winding miles parallel with Roundout/Wallkill through Kingston NY and breaking North, parallel Hudson to Saugerties NY and its' confluence with Hudson...
