8/12/21 - re-turn with Brainard site as Water levels continue re-ceding/re-seeding... with many re-markings/re-drawings with this site since Winter there are many layers/levels as part of the integrity of present work, accumulative ... it's been with the 90s a few days with spotty, brief showers, the Water is clearer w/o as much visible soil contaminant content, run/rained off the Rensselaer Plateau, mentioned with last post entry with Brainard…

Jan 26th, as I had marked with the site and was getting into my car I heard “croak”, looked up to Raven flying out of Pines and overhead, looping up over the bend and back to over Pines out of sight down the road... I followed to a tree where it met up with mate.... they watched me as I pulled over watching them for less then a minute, “croaked” and together flew further down the road and in with the grounds with Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, a compressor plant along Rt 66... I stopped again only hearing them amid the plant’s roaring sound until one flew onto the roof of a building with half a dozen steaming pipes... it then flew further down past the plant fencing into a large tree where mate met up... and I hung out with them there for 1/2 hour as they nuzzled, preened and swayed high with the cold, windy tree limb...
