This piece started out as an egg tempera done with Artesia NM after an intro at Peter Hurd’s studio with the medium… since it has been a few different mediums, each version using beeswax w/Earth Ochres,
"climate change" is blaming something out of our control... whether it is man/woman made or a natural cycle of nature is debatable... what is not debatable is that we have polluted/toxified and plundered our Water, Air, Fire and Earth... we can control that by changing our behavior with Love and respect for the Elements; Earth, Air, Water, Fire & Ether that align with life... be responsible please...
the hypocrisy of how many "environmental" artists are using oil paints and acrylics, studio materials and other plastics sourced from petrochemicals... and other toxic Elements is self evident ignorance and elitism... this and the other 5 of these remnants have been taken to the local recycling enterprise… and no one seems to know where they go after that…
the lines, colors and forms oscillate with intermittent rains and temperatures as they incorporate with the Elements... the sameness with grey overcast days with showers steadies the oscillation with subtle tonality...
when I look at reducing all of this chaos I see the common denominator as what we as humans have done to the planet... positive thinking places, "conveniently", all our "problems" in the trash including other humans with war, personal challenging personal relationships, and within ourselves... plastics with industry to plastic people, Hollywood to news programing... now the hot potato is in each of our laps and with no where to toss it... it's in our face and we each are trying to escape, blaming each other, ourselves, the court systems and prisons, probations are not vacant...
acknowledge our "negativity" and our "positivity" with balance and gratitude

when "showing" seasonal liberating passages, or producing a day to day slide sequence with youtube or a portfolio with them where their whole trip is seen more as one piece then what they appear here on fb and my blog from one day to the next as simply a part, or a stage of the process... as a serial/sequence with the process of their return to Earth each photo is but a moment within the moment of the whole process, that is another moment, that journals daily over a longer time period.....
I'm ending the squentiaols today with the New Moon and celestial compadres now....

I've laid this piece upon the ground to avoid wind blow overs and to alter surface growths with each side collecting leaf and tree flower, seeds and rain Water and run off from trees above from day to day... flipping this once a day the slugs and ground bugs scurry about when daylight exposes them, leaving shiny tracks across the board like dreams across the nightscape... the shades of color with the mold(s) alternate light and dark with no observable shape or size changes... dancing surface shadows with Sun and overhead growth...
