yesterday's wet underpainting, high humidity, rains & cloud cover created a mold environment. the whiteness in the crevices between the egg holder relief moved in over night. i've sprayed with rubbing alcohol to kill the spores/growth. rubbing alcohol also can produce a certain resistance to additional layering of pigment/material. This occurring will be in the finished painting as part of its character and integrity in texture, color, line, chemistry and energy. rubbing alcohol also can produce a certain resistance to additional layering of pigment/material....
