Dunn Dome

An after sunrise shot of The First Baptist Church on Broad St. in Dunn, NC. The architect was Herbert Woodley Simpson (January 19, 1870-October 21, 1945). He was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic order.
Dome in Latin is domus meaning house. Most world civilizations; ie. Islam, Christianity, Russian Orthodox; connecting in religious terms have used the dome. In Geology it defines a natural higher ground descending in all directions. In slang it refers to the head in American English. I had a principle at one school we called chrome dome.
This dome sets upon a hexagon upon a square. The Masons are well known for their use of Sacred Geometry in attempts to harness energetics. There is academic justification they learned this during the Christian Crusades into the Middle East.
