am happy that I installed for display some free art Sunday 11/10/13 at the Disciple † Food Bank
NO 2 in Wilmington, NC.

I'm not certain on how long these pieces will be hanging. :They were still there 38 hours later, one day after Veterans Day 11/12/13. An addition in collaboration and a co-creative positioning of three large recycling bins sitting in front of "crossroads" and the dyptich "roots and seeds" centered in the photo below. the bins bilaterally angulating the visibility of the works. Two of the "baked art" series and "honeycomb 1" are also pictured above in the free art installation.
Energetically and creatively appropriate!

Am inventorying my work from 2012 and finding that I didn't post "honeycomb 1st". As another Spring blossoming approaches I feel strongly it very appropriate to post this painting now as a reminder to us all of our human technological traumatizing effects to the very cellular structures of our environment and ultimately on our survival as a species.

"honeycomb 2nd" ( http://gregpatch.blogspot.com/2012/04/honeycomb-2nd-as-completed.html ) and "honeycomb 1st" are done on a 1" thick recycled cardboard used in the construction of doors as an insulating filler between the door facings. Within the outer cardboard's surfaces are perpendicular thick paper honeycombed structures for support and air filled insulation.
Last Spring I was also involved with the paintings and shows (

In these works where I use "resist" materials like postage tape, waxes and oils, etc. My water medium forms colorfully shaped flakes; pareidolia, marks of line, shape, relief and movement are used in creating these "sketches". These flakes are set with areas securely lifting off the paper surface @1"
