"brick pareidolia short story of a cycle of races in the U.S.A."
finds basis from the Native American prophetic story of the Seven Fires;
"Seven prophets came to the Anishinabe. They came at a time when the people were living a full and peaceful life on the North Eastern coast of North America. These prophets left the people with seven predictions of what the future would bring. Each of the prophecies was called a fire and each fire referred to a particular era of time that would come in the future. Thus, the teachings of the seven prophets are now called the "Seven Fires"."
http://www.wabanaki.com/seven_fires_prophecy.htm
this entropic myth/tale/prophecy is not exclusive to the Anishinabe story of "Seven Fires". The story line can be found in most cultures and is a description of a culture reaching its' flowering and dying back to be replaced by next years crop and implemented by those present whether they are plant or animal. It is enfoldment.

Gathered Stinging Nettles Urtica dioica sp. on Solstice morning and here it is hanging briefly before I set in the darkness of a dry shed. In gathering I allowed it to sting me with its acidic virtues into a two day itch for my joints, bones and kidneys. The itch and swelling time can be an indication of ones' needs for the healing powers of this fine herb. I've had more intense reactions in previous years so I'm happily not scratching, grin...
The energetics of Summer Solstice and the perigee Full Moon in Capricorn instill me with Belief!, caring for others within the family circle and outward, and strengthening my own knees/needs...

One of my teachers and a good friend is Ryan Drum. Check out       http://www.ryandrum.com/wildcrafting.htm to read his articles on wildcrafting Stinging Nettles and other medicinals.

I opened 5' x 10' "Webh Celebration", 2009 from within its storage tube for & with Green Art Studio
~Hello Universe~

from my June 15th, 2010 post http://gregpatch.blogspot.com/2010/06/webh-celebration.html

The concept for the “Webh Series” originated as a continuation of the “Chakra Rising Wave Series.” The words wave, weave, and web are derived from the Proto-Indo-European root word webh. Within a template symbol, Webh employs three basic grays;  red/green, orange/blue, and yellow/violet. A symbolic representation of the webh on seven color fields creates a whole having 21 saparate panels. The textured pattern of the Lokta/Nepal paper augments the overall pattern within the panels by solidifying its foundation. "Webh Celebration" is 5' x 10'.

Webh is symbolic of the internal and external relationships between opposing concepts of us and them. Symbolic levels also include earth and water, fire and air, matter and non matter, imbalance and wellbeing, inhaling and exhaling, and di and da. It is the system expressed as an interconnected whole.

In art there has traditionally been realism and abstraction.  Artists are beginning to bridge this gap and to recognize and formalize a wholistic picture: real and abstract. Webh maintains the individuality and quality of each within a wholistic relationship, while creating a separate entity within the unique character of each piece. There is a quantum moment within a process when these merged perspectives bring forth the world in its totality. The work becomes a self portrait as well as a portrait of a culture. Artists are coupling their "new"*understanding of 'wholeness' to the greater community. In these paintings this pattern appears at a level where old and new meet, link, renew, and weave together again.  Many artists today are reconnecting to our roots and traditional cultures. This work can be symbolic of the basis of life, DNA, the Caduceus.  The webh is infinite.

[Footnote this] “New,” used above, is in quotes because this concept of wholeness is not new. Many older civilizations understood this duality. The Aborigine, Native American, African traditionals, Celtic, Ayurvedic, European, Chinese and Asian peoples possessed this understanding of a whole, interelated and interdependent conceptual framework of our inner and outer world.

I used the grain of the Black Walnut veneer as my template to cut. I'll attach them to the Yellow Pine boards salvaged from a recessed wall bookshelf for foundation to a finished art work later...

http://gregpatch.blogspot.com/2012/10/two-beautiful-black-walnut-boards-for.html
"Two beautiful Black Walnut "boards" for work. The thickness runs from 1/8" to 1/4", veneer, and 12" x 81" at their maximums. I ran across these at a local woodworkers shop in the almost scrap bin; $2.00/ea. Will return the Black Walnut stain/ink I made into drawing/painting with these boards creating a whole new work of art. Wood in its natural being is already a work of art and we'll be collaborating with the energetics of its' innate woodness...l"

numerological 3 on this day for all to savor their alignment with 3's energies. Was a pleasant quiet winter day for us all!!!

from http://numerology-thenumbersandtheirmeanings.blogspot.com/2011/02/number-3.html
NUMBER 3

ATTRIBUTES OF THE NUMBER 3

Synthesis, triad, heaven-human-earth, past-present-future, thought-word-action, demonstrates love through creative imagination, comprehensive, fulfilling.

Relates to:
Mars
The Empress
Tuesday
Yellow

Character:
Frank, forceful, motivates others.

Negative Traits:
Indifferent, lacks stamina and concentration, spectacular rise and fall, mania, mood swings.

The urge of 3 is to conserve the growing faith in yourself while encouraging others to expand their faith as well.

3 is to do with the 'performing arts'.

The Number 3 is considered to be feminine and introvert and relates to the planet Jupiter.  The Tarot card representative of the 3 energy is The Empress.

The Number 3 symbolizes the principles of growth.  When the initiating force of 1 unites with the germinating energy of 2, there is fruitfulness = 3, the Trinity.  3 signifies that there is a synthesis present  -  that imagination and an outpouring of energy is in action.  The 'thought' of 1 and the 'fertility' of 2 results in the 'creativity' of 3.  The joy and happiness of the 3 vibration is to be shared with others.

The 3 energy is optimistic and fun-loving, and strives to uplift and colour its surroundings.  They tend to be the 'joker', have a wonderful sense of humour and are very charismatic.

The 3 energy is enlivening, youthful and enthusiastic.  Their talents lay within communications of all kinds.

People with the 3 energy must learn to think and concentrate, and not scatter their energies.  They must learn to fully express their creative abilities, and to harmonize their energies with their emotions.  Number 3's are usually very idealistic and the 3 energy is the most powerful of the 'mind' numbers.  The balance of the 3 vibration indicates that the 3 person needs to exert greater effort in the mental spheres, particularly if their Destiny number is not a 'mind number' (3, 6, 9).  There is often a tendency towards mental laziness when the number 3 is absent, as 3 is the energy of the 'creative principle'.

The gift of words and communication are there for the 3 person, as is inspiration, cheerful optimism and joy.  The 3 energy loves life and needs to share their enthusiasm with others.  Number 3 is the energy of the 'creator' and wants to inspire and light the 'fire of life' in others so that they can also feel the joy and enthusiasm for living life to the fullest.

The 3 energy can be charming, entertaining and very social.  They have a keen intellect and want the best in life  -  the pleasant, the beautiful and the luxurious.  They feel the need to inspire and beautify the world. The natural capabilities of the 3 allows them to take anything they have a create something beautiful from it.

3 represents the principle of increase, expansion, growth and abundance on the physical, emotional, mental, financial and spiritual levels.  When the number 3 is affecting you, it is often difficult to avoid putting on weight.

The 3 is a free-form energy that does not work well with structure, plans or routines.  They are an open channel with spiritual insights and inspiration for living life.  They are the creator, not the worker.  3's are easily hurt emotionally, dislike confrontation and can attract domineering partners.

The 3 vibration can find personal fulfilment by using the expressive creative energies they possess, such as music, painting, design, culinary pursuits – any creative endeavour.  3's test is to experiment and find where their special talents lie, then use them.

The 3 energy is capable of deep love and emotions, and needs to be admired and loved by others.  The many and varied interests of the 3 vibration give 3 people many different experiences on the emotional level.  The 3's charms and popularity can bring many contacts and social situations.

Intuition and psychic gifts are abilities of the 3 vibration, and is a very positive aspect when used for the service of others.  This is uplifting and joyful to the 3 vibration.

The 3 energy can be manic depressive if they do not use their creative energy, and tend to exaggerate the truth.  If the 3 person is unhappy, they make sure that everyone else is unhappy as well.  If they are happy, they make everyone else happy too.

Children with the 3 energy need to be encouraged to use their creative outlets and imagination, so that their lives will be filled with culture, pleasure and joy.

The Triad – Body, Soul and Spirit
The Ruler  -  Venus

Attractive, dynamic, extrovert and are often ‘stars’ in their own right.

3’s are charming, witty, conversant with many subjects and have considerable potential.

Though with lively, productive sex lives, they often remain unattached.

3’s may be arrogant and conceited, but (public) recognition can be theirs.

NUMBERS ADDING TO 3

12 / 3              12/3 people have strong individual principles.  This number denotes the end of a cycle, with new beginnings to come.  The 12/3 person has a love of pleasure and is creative and artistic. Growth and expansion, communication, rhythm and completion are all to do with the 12/3 vibration.
