Wood Spring grid
Wood Spring grid
Wood is the element of Spring in the 5 Element Philosophy. Wood empowers our birth and renewal with Spring. Wood aligns with us and we with it to emerge with our visions of Winter and with our intent with Summer. All is connected, their are no borders, walls or separation.

A general cleaning and buffing of beeswax and natural pigment paintings that were wood framed and glassed for up to ten years. This is a process of conservation in preparing them for storage. I do this with a dry, soft organic cotton cheese cloth and a gentle touch. I'll place sheets of butcher block paper between them and store the paintings in cardboard boxes...

The structured piece is adaptable to many spaces. Considered with its' materials, the space it's involved with and acknowledging what its' permanence is is relevant with one form in separate or contrasting environments in separate or contrasting time spans...

Monday, March 11, 2013 New Moon in Pisces 3:52 PM EST
A new cycle begins with the Pisces New Moon. Jumping out/into new warming waters with accepting emotional embrace of our imbalances and our dis ease toward a new kind of balance with ease and grace and trusting the waters around us will support and nourish us with creativity and growth toward the light(s). Consciously construct time and space for these seeds to emerge and prosper and sharing our dreams with the others we meet along our way will bring us to fruition. At this powerful time we find the Moon aligned with Sun, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Chiron and with the grounding and deep energies of Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn. Be alert that within this Moon cycle as Moon enters Aries in a couple days it will still be aligned to Mars/action and to Uranus/lightening change in Aries at and that at this time the Saturn/structure and Pluto/deeply grounded transformation alignments will also be at play to help with our focus. Trust, Faith and Grace.

I used the grain of the Black Walnut veneer as my template to cut. I'll attach them to the Yellow Pine boards salvaged from a recessed wall bookshelf for foundation to a finished art work later...

"Two beautiful Black Walnut "boards" for work. The thickness runs from 1/8" to 1/4", veneer, and 12" x 81" at their maximums. I ran across these at a local woodworkers shop in the almost scrap bin; $2.00/ea. Will return the Black Walnut stain/ink I made into drawing/painting with these boards creating a whole new work of art. Wood in its natural being is already a work of art and we'll be collaborating with the energetics of its' innate woodness...l"

I have been a practicing Western
Traditional Herbalist and Fine Artist for over 30 years. My studies include
Ayurvedic & TCM practices. I’ve worked with home birthing, children, adult
& elderly care and the dying passage with home care. I also offer Western
Humanistic Astrological approaches to health based assessments with over 25
years of study and practice.
This opportunity introduces my confidential counsel where with you we
would look at your intentions for your wholistic health by assessing your
background, where you are now, and what you would realistically like to achieve.
The process I recommend in counsel follows embracing personal whole diet,
physical conditioning and connection to spiritual practice and/or understandings
with energetics.
