"railing installation"
1/27 - 1/31 as we enter the Year of the Wooden Horse

"Chinese New Year 2014: What the Year of the Horse means for you" from http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/chinese-new-year-2014-what-the-year-of-the-horse-means-for-you-9096775.html
"Feng shui practitioner Raymond Lo told Reuters: “The upcoming Horse year is also a 'yang wood' year, when people will stick more to their principles and stand firm. So it is hard to negotiate or compromise as there are more tendencies for people to fight for their ideals.”"

from  http://www.cafeastrology.com/
"This is a time during which we should solve problems that require thinking "outside of the box"; look to the future with a brand new, positive, and hopeful vision; brainstorm and socialize; focus on extending a friendly hand, receiving support, and expressing platonic love for those around us; give our emotions and passions a "break", as we develop more objectivity and some detachment from past haunts; learn how something (or someone) works; revitalize ourselves through experiences that are new or simply different; reach out to people in our social circle and in our community, and recognize the value of our friendships and social networks; recognize that some level of detachment and distancing ourselves from our habits and attachment to the past will help us break away from destructive behaviors that are holding us back. With this potent Aquarius energy, we have the chance to make progressive changes in our lives. For some of us, circumstances are such that we need to pay more attention to these matters."

we meet today with the New Moon in Aquarius... this preceded by the Full Moon in Cancer on Jan 15 where I began this installation process... enJoy!

"railing installation"
these were shot over a 3 - 4 day period while my cell phone wasn't sending out the photos to my email for downloading. another interesting glitch is the double exposure in the top photo on the corner of the railing. this double exposure doesn't show up anywhere else in the photo? I do like the Snake like line frozen in snow as we enfold from the year of the Water Snake into the year of the Wooden Horse...
in the last of the four photos Squirrel has eaten an acorn nut leaving the shell within this small installation...
