Moon Day

Moon Day                                2011                                ©Greg Patch
Moon rising over the breaking waves at Kure Beach, NC last night around 10pm. I went out to capture the shot in downtown Wilmington along the river around 9pm. I didn't real eyes it wasn't coming up until 10. As I was standing there with my camera enjoying being with the people enjoying the river a young woman came up to me and asked me to take a photo with her camera of her and the husband. It was their Anniversary. I was honored. I walked aound a bit thinking "where's the Moon, I'm tired and want to get to bed." I then got in my car with Guidance and started driving toward Carolina Beach hearing the Moon will be up when I get there.  I drove through Monkey Junction, Carolina Beach and ended up at Kure Beach Pier. As I pulled into the parking area I looked up and there, just peaking over the ocean horizon was Moon. A Curing for I in trust in my own intuitive occurred at Kure Beach. The Moon is in Aquarius, a sign of strong intuitiveness.

Sun Day

Gaillardia pulchella Firewheel or Indian Blanket shines up from the dunes, waterways and empty spaces here in NC and in warmer climates of North America as it cleanses & heals with us on Sun Days. Research shows Gaillardia as used in Ayurvedic medicine w/o my finding for what.

from http://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=GAPU
"Use Medicinal: Tea of root for gastroenteritis, chewed powdered root applied to skin disorders." [like sun burn] "Sore nipples of nursing mothers bathed in tea made from the plant, also used for sore eyes. Kiowa considered it good luck."

a progressing transformation note 7

Here the panels are in position on the coffee dyed canvas duck panel that will be drawn into with beeswax and natural pigment by participants present at the Solstice celebration. Intentions of our mind, our body & our spiritual commitment to peace, love, and co-creativity will be spoken and reverberate throughout the land. These spoken words will be imprinted into the land and travel the ley lines of the earth grid, delivering our intentions around the globe and into the universe.  These spoken intentions will travel within, along the grid of meridians within our bodies and awaken and reinforce our cellular memory, reinforcing our commitment to this new evolution in mankind. The canvas will then be dampened with water element and the panels' jute ends will have fire element applied. As the jute grid burns through the remaining unburned paper, jute, beeswax, pigment and ash will lay upon the dampened canvas. A new image will be formed on the canvas panel and displayed.

enJoy the fire sign Sagittarius Full Moon and lunar eclipse today! A good time to consciously complete projects and issues. The eclipse will amplify these possibilities for us.
