Ecological Disaster! First Drafts: Christo's 'Over the River' - The Atlantic

Covering a river with enameled (toxic material) sheets the nourishing rays of the sun are shielded from entering the flowing waters. The reflection of the rays off the surface of the waters is an important process of the biological processes of Earth as well. All life is effected adversely in the name of art and Christo.
