Entrance to Pre Summer Solstice Celebration
The entrance from the main road to the Pre Summer Solstice Celebration held at the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Copper Guinea Farm in Atkinson, NC. 6/18/11
the young were excited to get to drawing in their contribution and layers built as the older made their contributions. Colored waxes were placed first then the Water mediums; two colors of clay "slip" from the land the creating was done, the 3 dyes (Yellow Dock Rumex crispus, Coffee Coffea arabica & Blueberry Vaccinum spp.)
as Fire did its work to the diptych a fast moving thunder storm with heavy rains rolled in
and extinguished the burning at this stage. As it is, unrolled this morning in my back yard to dry...
