MUSICAL PERFORMANCES BY: Dog's Ave. Xclusive Raphael Namé Occupy Wilmington Benefit Concert and Art Auction with musical performances by local musicians and an art auction by local artists on Fri, December 9, 6pm- until. Money raised will be used to promote and fund community projects to educate awarness and increase the community's unified voice. Local musical artist, Dog's Ave. with their self described "home grown organic" sound, Xclusive giving us some great rhymes, and Raphael Namé our local Brazilizn musician will entertain us with their musical talents. Benefit to "Stop Titan"

 Am donating this piece for auction to our local STAN Stop Titan Action Network http://stoptitan.org/. The benefit takes place tonite at Projekte Gallery at the corner of 3rd & Castle Sts. The event kicks off at 5 with activities for our young ones and continues thru the evening with auction, music and celebration to raise funds.

I did this painting in 1989 on the east bank of the Hudson River in New York. At that time the cement plant in Cementon, NY was flagrantly polluting the river. The people of the region united by raising funds and bringing awareness to the problem. Legislation passed and cleanup and regulations began. One of the major influencers was and still is Pete Seeger's Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. Each year they hold the Clearwater Festival to celebrate cleaning up, down.

Its just plain awesome...

... those indelible life experiences! Somewhere in our brain there is a key/code to getting over 

them. A test for sure! Am thinking indelibility is an illusion we hang onto for some reason, 

or, lack of. 

Speaking of; have discovered my new state of the art Mac does not translate my old Mac 

computers .cwk (claris works) files. Say huh! Was on the phone last night w/Apple techies? 

trying to resolve. Downloaded for 1 1/2 hrs a writing program that might open them. It did not. 

Still ringing in my ears (the inverse side of terrific.) is "if that doesn't work I don't know" - 

Apple techy. This morning am assembling my megaeraser and preparing, gently, cramming it 

into my ear, ahem! Any one out there who's aced this test I can copy from? Cackling like a bird 

on a tight rope! and attempting to lol :)
