a color sketch before today's work as part of a piece I'm working with that 

I'll be posting more on later...  appropriately the forecast is rain as the Sun moves into Cancer, a Water sign. the rain began last evening just before I lay the pigments down on paper and set it on the wet outdoor deck. I allowed a few moments for the rainwater/drops, natural pigments and paper to develop the expression caught in this photo...

of clockwise stirred circularly Spring rain water within two coupled Metal pans. as the 12th, 

14th and 16th day of the month the metaphor of the number 6 appears. the most important

 influence of the 6 is its loving and caring nature. it's about sacrificing, caring, healing, protecting and teaching others. no one, no family or no community can function without the energy of the 6 to maintain the unit together, safe and healthy. They are the cohesive energies that keep self, family or community together. these energies are of the dimensionalities of positive and negative characteristics depending on the lifestyles of the involved. the container within the container will represent the holding of one space by another space, or the caretaker(s) and the care receiver(s). the relationship of light and dark exists as a balanced dance in space and time...

applied red (Earth), green (Heart) and violet (Spirit) Earth pigments onto the surface of clockwise stirred circularly Spring rain water within two coupled Metal pans. as the 9th day of the month the metaphor of the number 9 and the container within the container can represent setting limits and establishing firm boundaries... and here with one photo image above and the other below the number 8 formed by the circles suggests an infinite space. the circle can also represent an infinity... the relationship of light and dark exists as a balanced dance in space and time...

minimal installation

as the Sun re-emerges and the daylight hours increase helping to rapidly melt away the heavy snows and cold we've experienced. the installation begins to reveal the color natural Earth pigments; red, yellow & blue, that I set upon a thin layer of ice/snow on day 1 of the installation, 1/17/15...

by the end of the 48th day remaining red, yellow and blue pigments merging with the surface are sheltered by a last year's Pin Oak leaf, sheltering for/with the intense Cosmic energies; X Solar flare, tUr cj tMars in Aries sq tPluto in Capricorn and whatever other revelations we must face as individuals within a complex/simple environment ...

~be conscious of being grounded for the next few days, signatures direct us to avoid anger, war and harmful mishaps and to go deeply in healing our selves past and present as we prepare to CoCreate our future with Love and Peace... Be strong, secure and well~

as the Oak leaf blew away with the winds exposing that the color pigments no longer appear upon the "ground" surface. 

with the 52 day processional the pigments were reintegrated with the ground and will help to re mineralize the soil with their individual strengths...

as the Sun re-emerges and the daylight hours increase helping to rapidly melt away the heavy snows and cold we've experienced here in Southeastern NYS the installation begins to reveal the color pigments; red, yellow & blue, that were set upon a thin layer of ice/snow on day 1 of the installation, 1/17/15...

by the end of the 46th day all the snow and ice had melted into the soil leaving the red, yellow and blue with the surface, remerging with the soil...
