the rebuilding, resilient, community Heart folk with Western North Carolina goes on after 9/27/24’ Hurricane Helene… they will be celebrating this weekend and I wanted to post my Love with them… we had moved from the house my daughter, Brian, the infant twins and I lived near Hot Springs, it was washed away… I came North and they moved to Swannanoa and Caitlyn had just opened her first business, a natural hair and beauty salon “Rustic Ritual” in Asheville… at the confluence with Swannanoa River and French Broad River it was destroyed by waves of raging Waters…in the town Swannanoa they were w/o electric and Water for days and the twins’ school was destroyed… Caitlyn opened her new space this month, away from the rivers, and they will be celebrating this weekend! my Heart is full…

Caitlyn had several of my Beeswax and Earth pigment “wave” paintings at her salon that were destroyed and I had done many river stone markings along these sacred Waterways… I post them here enThanks…
