facing North, up Hudson, tide moving South to NYC/Atlantic
map shows East - West relationship with Black Creek confluence Hudson River site and triangle Rifton/Esopus/Rosendale... am looking with working some smaller tributaries with Hudson, Wallkill and Rondout locally... in reading NC Cherokee lore they referred to the smaller tributaries as grandchildren Waterways... I'm not sure the Esopus peoples thought similarily, I find it an interesting concept...
walking to the site from the parking area and entering close to site Bald Eagle flew right over head wawhaa-wawhaa wawhaa-wawhaa wawhaa-wawhaaa and high up into tree I approached along the road, and as quickly dissappeared without me seeing it... I didn't see it coming or going but its wings flapping rung chords deeply within, beyond the physical sensation...
