"honeycomb 2nd" ( http://gregpatch.blogspot.com/2012/04/honeycomb-2nd-as-completed.html ) and "honeycomb 1st" are done on a 1" thick recycled cardboard used in the construction of doors as an insulating filler between the door facings. Within the outer cardboard's surfaces are perpendicular thick paper honeycombed structures for support and air filled insulation.
