after a couple rainy days Dashville Dam looks wide open...

drove around 4 sites I've been working with Rondout, Wallkil (2) and Black Creek and all were underwater, Rosendale site completely and other 3 mostly... second photo is Perrine's Bridge/Esopus site... with more rain predicted this week we'll see levels Wed 3rd as next marking/drawing day... meanwhile we can celebrate the half way point between Spring and Summer along with other traditions around the world... the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice with the Northern hemisphere as Cross Quarter day, and marked the beginning of summer for the ancient Celts. It was a day for dance and song to hail the sown fields starting to sprout...
