just unframed and photographed these pieces from the early 80's. many of my early work are on "slides". dusty, deteriorated and more of an expense with time and money in converting to disk than I've cared to play with. what will artists and photo nostalgiacs (nouns) be facing when disks are outdated with technological advances in a few years? POOF!!! as our economic, lifestyle, personal perceptions and well being get down with the new times emerging...
life takes us in spiraling circles, some last a day, a week, the yearly ones like from March to March, etc. I'd just dropped out of the School of Visual Arts in pro test of Amerika and was living communally and illegally in a loft below Canal St on the West Side, on Greenwich St.  A high priced district today. The Twin Towers were just being constructed. We used to sit out on the empty streets at night with the other homeless folk singing songs, telling stories and staying warm with a fire, heisted food goods, wine and psychedelics large and small...
Being in a spiral I'm hoping that if I return to that scenario it will be in a more temperate zone...
Nothing like a good morning fantasy to start the day with.
and then there are the Nature Spirits...
