this Nature progression is a found art piece I'm photo journaling. I didn't participate with
the selection or the placement of the mattress nor the dispersing of the leaves, twigs, & etc....
I've been calling it, "leaved mattress grid"...

the “thinning of the veils” occur at two times regularly in each year. it refers to our ability in clarity of vision (pineal) to connect with the Spirit of living with it’s ebbs and flows of the changes we experience in plant and animal growth and the expansions and contractions of matter occurring at these seasonal times. they are calendar times half way between Spring and Summer and Fall and Winter. Late May and early June, ie. Beltane, May Day and Easter are celebrated when life emerges, resurrects or Springs upward. In mid Fall during late October and early November the wholidays of All Saints Day, Dia de los Muertos, Halloween and Samhain, etc. are celebrated in the Northern Western World. this next week marks this time when we descend, to collect with harvesting, grounding into ourselves and preparing to hibernate with the darker months of Winter.
~it is a time for openess and flexability in preparation for standing our grounded being and expanding with contraction in embracing all creation~...
To every one, enJoy this whole week with the connections and celebrations!...

as an artist I'm focused on where the images come from and allowing them to emerge. we get our images from the Nature around and within us. we see pareidolia in a cloud, a tree and we revere or emulate them. the world alphabets come from these archtypicals. when and how they come with alphabets, shamanic divinations, Jungian dreamwork or with automatic mark making is a/part of the human energetic process on Earth… collaborating with Nature by initiating the materials and tuning the image through its’ final stages. the images are directly correlated to what's going on in my life or environment in some visual mythological way at that time and in that season, or in this life. as a human I'm still trying to figure out what it's all about and am constantly blown away with that Nature is the artist here and I'm but a very small part of it...  these consistent markings of patterns and imagery are fractal enfoldments...

with my car totaled and colder weather moving in limiting my access to site locations I'm going to lay the "Falls" installation to rest for the Winter, at least...
laid out on the back yard and rolled up in my space it awaits...
~apart from my intentions I align with the Nature of the process~

and studying and being with the versatility of its' architectonics as a form...

with the shots of 10/21, 10/22 and particularly with 10/23, taken later in the day, the golden reflective light
of the fall leaves and bright sunshine create fascinatingly illuminous and mysterious color contrasts...
