a color sketch before today's work as part of a piece I'm working with that
I'll be posting more on later...  appropriately the forecast is rain as the Sun moves into Cancer, a Water sign. the rain began last evening just before I lay the pigments down on paper and set it on the wet outdoor deck. I allowed a few moments for the rainwater/drops, natural pigments and paper to develop the expression caught in this photo...

have a great Solstice and Father's Day!...

this 1st photo of a section of the installation project "labels" I'm working on is @3' x 7'.
made up from the 35 individual recycled cardboard box tops with labels and tapes that I've posted over the past month or so. each panel is a beeswax/natural pigment painting and tied together with hemp to create the whole, for now. being very flexible it will be placed in different spaces. here it lays on a slightly warped chicken wire fence... it is growing...

  • am considering/mental editing a proposal to exhibit locally
  • Imagine it on display at your Summer party or wedding as an art rental or wall display to have as remembrance of the day! contact me for more information and arrangements!...
  • or buy the piece...
